1 Short Term Contract Position, duration: 6 months
Hourly rate: $36.83 – 38.61/hr
Location and Work Mode: Onsite at 2255 Battleford Road, Mississauga
Hours of Work: Week 1 (44 hours): Thurs-Sat: 8AM-5PM; Tues: 8AM-4PM; Wed: 8AM-5PM. Week 2 (36 hours): Thurs-Sat: 8AM-5PM; Wed: 8AM-5PM; Tuesday: Alt Day Off
CUPE Local 966 - Public Works
Under general supervision of the Area Foreperson, directs the workforce in carrying out instructions and tasks as assigned and ensures work is performed to appropriate Regional guidelines and safety standards and in accordance with applicable Certificate of Approval requirements. An integral part of the sub-foreperson position is to provide customer service in a fair, friendly and professional manner. Sub-forepersons must have knowledge of Waste Management policies and procedures as well as the Region’s Corporate Code of Conduct and Values.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates already in the CUPE 966 Public Works bargaining unit.
