Advisor, Business Process Management 

Office of the CAO- Strategy & Transformation 

Status: Regular Full Time

Salary Range: $110,870-$138,589 per annum plus comprehensive benefits

Location: 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton

Hours of work: 35 hours per week

Step into a leadership role where you will drive groundbreaking change, shape strategic decisions, and directly impact service delivery and organizational efficiency. As the Advisor, Business Process Management/Continuous Improvement, you will lead high-impact initiatives that optimize client satisfaction, streamline operations, and deliver significant cost savings, all while reducing the tax burden on the community.

 

Reporting to the Manager of Strategy and Corporate Performance, and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), you’ll be at the forefront of embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the entire Region. You will craft and implement a cutting-edge Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy, lead Lean Six Sigma (LSS) training programs, and execute process improvement projects that transform how services are delivered.

 

Your expertise will be pivotal in resolving complex business process challenges, guiding leadership decisions, and influencing both internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver results that matter. You will be a change agent—driving efficiencies that have the potential to save millions, while ensuring that every department and program is aligned with the Region’s strategic vision and goals.

What You’ll Need:

  • Six Sigma Black Belt
  • A university degree in Business, Public Administration, Engineering, or something equally impressive!
  • 8+ years of experience leading quality and continuous improvement, driving impactful initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience in a project environment, and a solid understanding of project management.

In this role, you’ll benefit from the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement that prioritizes meaningful in-person connection. A minimum of two days per week on-site is expected, with additional in-person presence as operational needs evolve. This arrangement allows for a blend of in person and hybrid work that adapts to support both organizational priorities and employee flexibility and is subject to change over time.

 

It's important to note that your off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario. This ensures that we're compliant with all regulations and policies.
