Salary Range: $78,336 - $97,920 per annum

Location: 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton, ON
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week (Rotating after hours on-call schedule)

The Role:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Water & Wastewater Compliance you will provide technical support to the Region’s water and wastewater programs and projects, respond to customer enquiries, and support the Region’s overall compliance with drinking water and wastewater legislation and conformance to the Drinking Water Quality Management Standards.

Work Mode & Job Location: In this role, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement. This means you'll have the ability to work remotely and on-site as needed, depending on operational needs, at the 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton and other water/wastewater worksites. The frequency of on-site work may vary from week to week, depending on operational demands, which can evolve over time.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who are currently in the CUPE Local 966-Public Works bargaining unit.

Peel Region remains committed to uninterrupted service delivery during the transition outlined in the Peel Transition Implementation Act, 2024, introduced by the Ontario government on December 12, 2024. If passed, this legislation would transfer responsibility for regional roads and stormwater infrastructure to Brampton, Caledon, and Mississauga by July 1, 2026, or as determined by the Minister. Waste collection and two community recycling centres in Mississauga would also transfer to the City of Mississauga.
