As Manager, Workplace Health & Safety, you will play a critical leadership role in advancing a strong safety culture, ensuring legislative compliance, and enabling programs that protect the well-being of our workforce across a large, complex, multi-site organization.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Management, we are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Manager, Workplace Health and Safety to lead and enhance our corporate safety program. You will provide leadership, support, and guidance to a team of subject matter professionals who deliver consultation and expertise across diverse business streams to ensure a workplace that is both healthy and safe for all.
This role is responsible for leading the development of a comprehensive health and safety program aligned with Peel’s People Plan, supporting a culture of compliance with all applicable legislation and regulations across a complex, multi-site organization. Continuous program development and improvement will be key to adapting to evolving workplace needs. In this role, you will provide expert advice and guidance to management while overseeing the development, implementation, and delivery of health and safety programs to all workplace parties.

In this role, you’ll benefit from the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement that prioritizes meaningful in-person connection. A minimum of two days per week on-site is expected, with additional in-person presence as operational needs evolve.
