Overview:
The Road Operations and Maintenance team at Peel Region is dedicated to ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of the Region's roadways. This team is responsible for a wide range of activities, including road repairs, snow removal, and overall road safety. Our work is crucial in maintaining smooth transportation routes, minimizing disruptions, and enhancing overall public safety on the roads.
The Role:
You will report to the Supervisor of Road Maintenance and provide crucial administrative support to the Supervisor, Foreperson, and Technical Analyst. You will act as a liaison, addressing operational concerns and facilitating communication between internal and external clients.

Work Mode & Job Location: In this role, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement. This means you'll have the ability to work off-site and on-site as needed, depending on operational needs at the 2 Copper Road, Brampton worksite. The frequency of on-site work may vary from week to week, depending on operational demands, which can evolve over time.
It's important to note that your off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario. This ensures that we're compliant with all regulations and policies.

Public Notice: Transfer of Regional Roads
Effective July 1, 2027, responsibility for Peel’s regional roads will transfer to the Cities of Brampton and Mississauga and the Town of Caledon. This change is part of the provincially led Peel Transition Implementation Act, 2024. Road operations and services will be delivered directly by each local municipality, with no interruption to residents. Peel Region will continue supporting a smooth transition and keeping the community informed
