Employee and Labour Relations Partner (Human Resources Associate)
Assignment: up to 18 months
Corporate Services - Human Resources
Reporting to the Supervisor, Employee and Labour Relations the Human Resources Associate will be responsible for delivering HR services in partnership with clients of assigned groups. This will be achieved through coaching, guiding and facilitating internal clients’ decisions to ensure successful results in accordance with relevant HR policies and processes, Collective Agreements and applicable legislation. Provides labour relations assistance to clients with respect to collective agreements, grievances, mediations and arbitrations. Also provides assistance with recruitment, performance management, compensation, job evaluation, pay equity, benefits, training & development and legislative & policy compliance. The HR Associate will foster and maintain positive employee and labour relations and participate in HR initiatives and projects. The position establishes credibility and maintains effective working relationships with all levels of employees and union officials, sharing information, providing services and resolving issues to ensure client and union needs are effectively managed.
Compensation: $77,518.00 - $96,897.00
